On December 6 and 7, 2014 during the 10th Annual RPS Christmas Carnage, Revolution Powerlifting collected a couple 100 pounds of food and goodies and $860 in cash in the name of Power Against. Revolution Powerlifting matched the cash donation to make it $1720. The money will be used to purchase much needed items to benefit the animals of the shelter. The cash will not be given as it would be used for administrative purposes.

The annual drives benefit the Animal Care & Control Team (ACCT) shelter in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia. We help ACCT as we adopted 3 of our Furbabies there and want to help make the lives of the Animals there a little better during their stay. The drives collect “Needed” items, toys, food, treats and other wish list items used by their Life Saving Dept. Also conducted is a raffle of donated items from Powerlifting sponsors, local businesses and competitors’ employers. We have purchased Power Washers to assist with disinfecting the kennels. Last year there were not enough beds to go around and some animals had to sleep on their kennel floors on blankets. The $700.00 raised purchased 10 Kuranda beds to put one in each stall.
